Privacy Policy

Aleveris (“we,” “us”) operates a learning-game platform that helps players memorize Bible verses and track their progress through a digital character. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and how it’s handled — especially for accounts used by or on behalf of children.

Who Can Create an Account

Accounts are created by a parent, guardian, or ministry leader who is 18 years of age or older. Children do not create their own accounts or log in independently. A parent or guardian creates the account and adds player profiles for the children in their care.

Information We Collect

From the account holder (parent/guardian/leader):

• Email address (for login and account communication)
• A display name (can be a real name or a nickname — your choice)

For each child player profile:

• A display name shown in the app — this does not need to be the child’s real name
• Birth year only (not a full birthdate)
• Gameplay progress: verses practiced, mastery level, character stats, in-game currency, and activity history

We do not collect home addresses, phone numbers, photos, precise location, or any government-issued identification.

How We Use This Information

Information is used solely to operate the game: tracking a player’s verse-memorization progress, maintaining their character across sessions, connecting players to the ministry organizations they participate in (e.g., a church’s weekly program), and letting parents and leaders see relevant progress.

What We Don't Do

• We do not sell or rent any information to third parties.
• We do not use third-party advertising trackers or analytics that profile children.
• Child player profiles are not publicly visible or searchable.
• We do not enable messaging or chat between players.

Parental Rights (COPPA)

As a parent or guardian, you can review, correct, or request deletion of your child’s information at any time by contacting us at aleveris.dev@gmail.com. You can also remove a child profile from your account. We retain gameplay history only as long as the account is active, plus a reasonable period for backups, unless you request earlier deletion.

Data Storage and Security

Data is stored with Supabase (Postgres database) in the United States, protected by row-level-security rules so that account holders can only access their own data. We use industry-standard encryption in transit (HTTPS).

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes in a way that affects how we handle children’s information, we will notify account holders by email before the change takes effect.
